He was predeceased by: his father Robert Mayfield. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Lewis of Joliet, IL; his wife Julie Mayfield; his son Kristopher Mayfield (Brenda); his grandson Joe Tucker (Jenn); his daughters, Helen Weddle (Barry) and Carrie Miner (Eddie); his siblings, Brian Mayfield (Nancy), Joe Mayfield (Jen), Christopher Mayfield, Cindy Hendricks (Tim) of Illinois and Julie Martinez (Jesse) of Illinois; and his goddaughter Hailee. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, March 9th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home (2110 KY-914, Somerset, KY 42503). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
