Miriam Soto Perez

Funeral services for Miriam Soto Perez, 87, of Fort Worth, Texas will be conducted at 3:00 P.M., Thursday, March 19, 2026 in the First Baptist Church of Cleburne with Pastor Jaime Perez officiating. Interment will follow in Rio Vista Cemetery with Zachary Morris, Nick Perez, Phil Dueck, and Rick Perez serving as pallbearers.

Miriam Soto Perez passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026 in Fort Worth. She was born June 9, 1938 in Bucaramanga, Colombia to Concepcion Mendez. She married Antonio Perez on September 1, 1961 in Cali, Colombia.

Mrs. Perez worked as a social worker for World Relief and was a member of the Nuevos Horizontes Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Guillermo Casalina; and one sister, Gladys Soto.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 64 years, Antonio Perez of Fort Worth; son, Rick Perez and wife Lisa of Kennesaw, Georgia; daughter, Any Perez and husband Phil Dueck of Rio Vista; grandchildren, Luke Perez, Meredith McConnell, Nick Perez, Zachary Morris, and Riley Morris; great granddaughter, Olive McConnell; brother, Mario Casalini of Barranquilla, Colombia and Ramiro Benavidez of Bogota, Colombia; many other extended family and friends.
