Miriam Hopkins

Miriam Hopkins of Hubbard, Ohio, passed away on March 8, 2026, at the age of 102. She left behind a large and loving family who will remember her with deep affection.

Predeceased by her parents, Jennie McCutcheon (Bennett) and Guy McCutcheon; her husband, Robert “Bob” Hopkins; her daughter, Lynn Hinkle (Bill); and her siblings, Luzelle Jarvis (Lowell), Gene McCutcheon (Rita), and Paul McCutcheon (Connie), Miriam is survived by her sons, Marc Hopkins (Francine) of Santa Clara, California, Stephen Hopkins (Dorothy) of Lancaster, Ohio, David Hopkins of Louisville, Kentucky, and Daniel Hopkins of Hockessin, Delaware; her grandchildren, Kate Woods (Russ), Elizabeth Hopkins, Emily Lumpkin, Paula Ghita, Kenneth Hopkins, and Evan Hopkins; her great-grandchildren, Sophia Woods, Jody Williams, and Guy Woods; and her beloved pet, Daisy.

Throughout her long life, Miriam remained the steadfast center of her family, cherished by generations who valued her presence and the quiet strength she brought to their lives.
