Miriam “Darlene” Eden

Miriam “Darlene” Eden

January 24, 1970 March 9, 2026

Ozark, MO

Miriam “Darlene” Eden, 56, passed away in her home on March 9, 2026.

Born on January 24, 1970, in Kansas to Jerry and Miriam Harris, Darlene spent many years raising her children in Nixa, Missouri before making her home in Ozark. A devoted Christian, she found deep community and connection at Cassidy United Methodist Church, where her faith remained a guiding force throughout her life.

Darlene’s compassion defined her. She first served her community as an EMT and later became a Registered Nurse, finding purpose in caring for others and making a meaningful difference in their lives. She also devoted time to organizing events for a nonprofit alongside her close friend Stephanie, work that reflected her lifelong desire to serve and support those around her. In quieter moments at home, she enjoyed her favorite television shows, afternoon naps, and the companionship of her beloved cat, Lexi.

Above all, Darlene’s greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted mother and proud grandmother who loved her children deeply and cherished every moment spent with them. She is survived by her son, Matthew Kirchoff and his wife, Kylea Kirchoff; her child, Shelby “Quinn” Eden; her daughter, Addison Eden; her beloved grandchild; and her brother, Brian Harris and his wife, Kim Harris.

Darlene will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Her faith, kindness, and the quiet joys of her life will remain in the hearts of those whose lives she touched.
