Mindy was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and a cherished friend to many.Mindy was born on November 25, 1958, in Brooklyn, to Sigmund and Frances Harac, joining her older brother, Len. The family established roots in Verona, NJ where she grew up and formed lifetime friendships. Mindy graduated from Verona High School in 1976.Following graduation, Mindy pursued education at Ithaca College in New York. She dedicated herself to the study of early childhood psychology. It was here that Mindy met her future husband, Gary. They were married in 1981 at the Richfield Regency in Verona, NJ.After living briefly in Bloomfield, NJ, they purchased their family home in Parsippany and raised two wonderful daughters, Dara and Liana. Nothing was more important to Mindy than the well-being and happiness of her family. In later years, her greatest joy was being a devoted "Grammy" to three grandsons, Jackson, Ryan, and Travis. Her heart soared around family.Mindy had a very creative spirit. She could lose herself for hours with quilting and pottery. It was with fellow clay artists that Mindy developed a close circle of cherished friendships that meant the most to her in recent years.She was a voracious reader, often finishing multiple books each week. Literature transported her to worlds she dreamed of seeing, including Ireland. She and Gary traveled and were able to see many destinations together. Her most treasured location was Dennis Port, MA where she and her family vacationed every summer. Here, Mindy developed cherished memories and formed lifelong bonds with wonderful families that that have endured for decades.Mindy met many challenges throughout her life with ferocity and focus. She pursued empowerment through yoga and fitness, and became a Certified Reiki Master. She was a true advocate for children and adults alike in their times of need.Mindy will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind her cherished husband of 44 years, Gary Nagle; her two devoted daughters, Dara Reidinger (Matt) and Liana LaBarre (Barry), both of Mount Olive; her three beloved grandchildren, Jackson, Ryan, and Travis; her brother, Len Harac (Faye) of Sparta, her father, Sigmund Harac of Montville, New Jersey.The family will have a private funeral.Visitation will be hosted at 59 Troy Meadow Road in Parsippany on:Friday, March 20, 2026 from 3:30pm -7:30pm andSaturday, March 21, 2026, from 1pm-4pm.In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to:Children Internationalhttps://www.children.org/orSt. Joseph's Children's Schoolhttps://www.stjo.org/To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
