December 22, 1949— March 10, 2026
Mosby, MO
Milton W. “Denney” Denney, 76, of Mosby, Missouri, passed away on March 10, 2026, at Liberty Hospital. Born on December 22, 1949, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Raymond E. and Mary Denney, he grew up with a deep appreciation for family that would shape his life.
Denney married Sally King on November 20, 1971. He often said he did not truly understand what a family was until he married her. For 54 years he remained devoted to Sally, loving her to the very end. Together they raised three children, Christopher, Timothy, and Sarah. A dedicated husband and father, Denney worked for 45 years at St. Regis Paper Company in Kansas City, providing steadily for his family.
He found joy in collecting baseball cards, computers, cars, and tools, and took special pride in his 1971 Cuda. He loved riding motorcycles and made several trips to Sturgis with his family, even when he occasionally lost his way home. He delighted in explaining wi-fi to anyone who would listen. Above all, he cherished time spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whether playing video games, being outdoors, or simply sharing playful moments.
Denney was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Raymond; his brother, Tommy; his half-brother, Ray; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Dickie and Susie; and his nephew, Loyd. He is survived by his wife Sally; his children Chris and his wife Cheryl of Shawnee, Kansas, Tim and his partner Julie of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, and Sarah and her husband Justin of Excelsior Springs, Missouri; his sisters Mary and Nelly; his half-brother Eddie; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; an extended family who loved him dearly; many friends; and his beloved dog, Remi.
