Milton Nicholas, 78, of Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2026, at home, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on April 1, 1947, in Indianapolis, Indiana, Milton served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1967 to 1968. He dedicated many years to his career at Verizon, formerly Bell Telephone, where he served as Director of the Engineering Department. A devoted member of New Life Assembly of God in Egg Harbor Township, he found great joy in the outdoors. He loved golfing, motorcycling, camping, fishing, and duck hunting, yet nothing meant more to him than spending time with family and friends.

Milton is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Carol; his two daughters, Julie Echevarria (Edwin) of Egg Harbor Township and Corinne Nicastro (Vincent) of Parkesburg, Pennsylvania; his proud grandchildren, Breeanna Nicholas, Amanda, Madison (fiancé John), Ian Lloyd, Christian, Nicholas and Nicole Taylor; and his great-grandson, Noah Zizza. He is also survived by his sister, Jackie LaRusso (Joe) of Egg Harbor Township; niece Lisa Summers; nephew Joseph Burchell; and many loving great-nieces and great-nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Eldon and Gladys Nicholas.

Milton will be deeply missed. His love, strength, and cherished memories will forever hold a special place in the hearts of all who knew him.
