Millard Surratt ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Duda-Ruck Funeral Home of Dundalk, Inc. on Mar. 17, 2026.Millard Price Surratt, 85 years of age, passed away in his home in Saint Augustine, Florida on Sunday, March 8, 2026.Millard was born on May 30, 1940, in Caretta, West Virginia to the late Millard John Wesley and Florence Pearl Holloway Surratt. He graduated from Dundalk High School in 1958 and attended the University of Maryland. He worked as an electrical engineer for Howard P Foley, in Baltimore, Maryland with his father. He accepted a position with Hoffman Construction in Portland, Oregon in 1980 and soon became Vice President of electrical estimating and procurement.After his retirement he and his late wife, Patricia Greene moved to St. Augustine, Florida and were very active at their church, Christ Our Savior Lutheran, in St. Augustine, Florida.Millard was a proud Eagle Scout, amateur pilot, enjoyed golf and was a great Patriot for God and Country. He is survived by his sister, Janet Marchant, and four daughters, Rebecca Surratt-Gerlach, Nancy Clough, Suzanne Waddell, and Jennifer Ray. Grandfather to Jacob Gerlach, Rachel Gerlach, Hannah Pelon, Benjamin Clough, Vincent Clough, Samuel Clough, Gabriella Clough, Lauren Pagano, Caleb Waddell, and Corey Eid and great-grandchildren, Juliana Gerlach, Adam Gerlach, Dominic Kohler, and River Eid. As well as his beloved pets and companions, Missy and CeeCee.Visitation will be held at the family owned Duda-Ruck Funeral Home of Dundalk, Inc., 7922 Wise Ave., Dundalk, MD 21222 on Thursday from 10 AM to 12 PM.
