Millard Smith

Millard Kenneth Karl Smith of Pembroke passed away peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at the age of 73.

He was the special friend of the late Ella Marie Hicks. Millard was predeceased by his parents, Andrew and Helen Smith (née Liebeck), and by his sister, Gayle Suley (Bill). He will be deeply missed by his brother, Wayne Smith (Elizabeth) of Alberta, and his sister, Carol Smith of Perth. He leaves behind his nieces and nephews: Leanne Summers (Tim), Kristyne Ross (Jeff), Stephanie Smith (Jeff), Margaret Smith (Josh), and Krista Graham (Jesse), along with his great-nieces and great-nephews. Millard was also forever loved by his faithful furry companion, Sammy.

A gentle and private man, Millard lived a quiet life anchored by the bonds of family and the simple comfort of his beloved dog. Those who knew him will remember his steady presence and the quiet affection he showed those closest to him.
