Mildred Faye Fletcher passed away on March 14, 2026, in of Paragould, Arkansas. Born on November 22, 1943, in Paragould, Faye dedicated much of her life to her community and the well-being of those around her.
Faye was a former owner of Ridgecrest Realty, where her dedication and integrity made a lasting impression on clients and colleagues alike. Following her career in real estate, she devoted many years to working at Greene Acres Nursing Center, where she provided compassionate care and support until her retirement. Her kindness and tireless commitment made a meaningful difference in the lives of many.
Beyond her career, Faye’s greatest joy was found in her family. She was the biggest fan of her nieces and nephews, cheering them on with boundless enthusiasm during their ball games.
Faye was a woman of deep compassion, endless generosity, and intense spiritually.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oss and Mildred Fletcher; sisters, Jackie Schwedock, Toady Woodson, Shirley Williams; nephews, Rick Taylor, Billy Horton; and niece, Denise Taylor.
Survivors include her brother, O.W. Fletcher; sisters, Dora Proctor, Linda McSpadden, and Barbara Taylor; nieces and nephews, Kenny Fletcher, Rick Proctor, Tena Marie Braxton, Roy McSpadden, Vicki Shelby, David McSpadden, Chris McSpadden, Nicholas Schwedock, Rusty Horton, Lisa Wooldridge, Tammy Saltmarsh, Debbie Trappe; and many great-nieces and nephews.
A graveside service under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home will be held on Saturday, March 21, at 11:00 a.m. at Finch Cemetery.
