Waters Funeral Home, Inc. on Mar. 17, 2026.Mildred Cromerdie, 96, of McKeesport, PA, was born on February 1, 1930, in Monessen, PA, the beloved daughter of Jerry Curry and Mildred Scott Curry.Mildred graduated from High School. She was employed at Don't Worry Childcare as a Cook. She worked at Mercy Hospital. After many years at Mercy Hospital, she retired only to join the workforce again, at the Salvation Army, Kennywood. Mildred was the oldest of her five siblings. She loved going to bingo, playing five-thousand-card games, and doing puzzles. Mildred loved her family and friends. She attended Christ Temple A.M.E. Mildred was a blessing to everyone. Her favorite quote was. "I Love You!"Mildred departed this life peacefully, surrounded by her family, on March 11, 2026, at UPMC East in Monroeville, PA. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jerry Curry and Mildred Scott Curry, ex-husband, Luther Cromerdie, Collie (Bradley) Holmes, son, James Cromerdie, sister, Maryetta Tarver, brothers, Jerry Curry, Lloyd Curry, Lee Scott, grandchildren, James Roberson, Quanisha Ball, Brittny Ball, Kanaada Ball, and Reagan Cash.Mildred is survived by her two daughters, Elizabeth Cromerdie and Margaret Cromerdie; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, great-great-great-grandchildren, brother, Thomas Scott, of Monroeville, PA, sister, Vernell Madison of Forest, VA, (Caregivers) April Cromerdie, Bridggette Ball-Berry, Latoya Sellman, Noaha Berry, and Reshawna Mackson; nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
