She was predeceased by: her husband Sterling Jones; her siblings, Daniel Baker, George Baker, Arthur Baker, Charles Hamilton, Edna Baker and Hosie Robinson; her grandson Greg Ross Dupre; her great grandchild Katie Lynn Dupre; and her great great grandchild Kadon Alfred Brice Dupre.

She is survived by: her sons, Alfred R. Dupre and Emeritus Robert W. Dupre. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Greater Shiloh Baptist Church (217 LA-10, Opelousas, LA 70570). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
