From an early age, she naturally stepped into the role of caregiver, helping raise and support her younger siblings. That spirit of compassion and responsibility stayed with her throughout her life. Mildred was the person family and friends could always count on. If someone needed help, comfort, or a steady hand, she was there without hesitation. Her life was defined by kindness, loyalty, and a deep devotion to those she loved. Mildred found great joy in caring for her family and took pride in being a source of strength and stability for so many. Whether it was offering a place to stay, helping someone through a difficult time, or simply being present when it mattered most, she gave generously of herself and expected nothing in return.Mildred and Michael Roberts were united in marriage on September 7, 1976. Together they built a loving family and raised three children. Mildred's first and most important work was caring for her children. She served as president of their preschool, helping raise funds for new equipment, and later volunteered through the PTA. Mildred and Michael were also known throughout the community as business owners who championed and supported the needs of others.Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, John Sr. and Oatie Muse; her daughter, Amy Yarberry; her sisters, Marsha Earls, Patricia Bergen, and Debra Letterman; her brother, Donnie Muse; and her beloved aunt and uncle, Jean and Lee Kesterson, and their son, Stevie. She is survived by her daughter, Michele Roberts; her sons, Terry Roberts and his wife Casey, and Kevin Roberts; her grandchildren, Jacob, Hannah, Leslie, Andrew, and Courty; and her great-grandchildren, Conner, Owen, and Brody.
