Mike Reeves ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Bratton Funeral Home on Mar. 10, 2026.Mr. Michael VanTassel Reeves, age 80, of York, South Carolina, peacefully passed away at his home on Sunday, March 8, 2026.The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at Bratton Funeral Home, 1455 Filbert Hwy, York, SC 29745. A funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Mike Burgess officiating. Burial will follow at Philadelphia UMC Cemetery and conclude with Military Honors rendered by VFW Post 12136 Honor Guard.Mike was born on January 12, 1946, in York County. He was the son of the late J.B. Reeves, Jr. and Dorothy VanTassel Holder. Mike was a proud veteran of the United States Army and later retired as a Game Warden for the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources. He also served on the Be Safe Team and was an accident investigator during the last 5 years.
