Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 18, 2026, in the chapel of Hughes & Wright Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Penia Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at the funeral home.Mike was born in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late William Harris Miller, Sr., and Barbara Richey Miller. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Harris Miller.Mike was the former owner and pharmacist of Rochelle Drug. He graduated from the University of Georgia and served as a member of the Crisp Regional Hospital Board. He had a musical side and loved playing the guitar, as well as collecting them. Mike was also a history buff, especially when it came to Native American history. He enjoyed researching his family roots and spending time working on his genealogy.He is survived by his wife, Teresa Miller; his son, Austin Miller; and his mother-in-law, Mentha Sargent, all of Cordele, along with several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his beloved fur babies, Layla and Cash, and his granddog, Dusty.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donating to the Janie Sargent Memorial Scholarship, 111 Tyler Street, Lagrange, Georgia, 30240.
