He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Pacatte; his siblings, Mary and Timothy of Wood River, IL; his former wife Janet Bean Pacatte; his nephew Eric Jines; and his grandson Dalton Taylor.

He is survived by: his sons, Justin Pacatte (Traci) and Kyle Pacatte (Kelly); his siblings, Tom Pacatte (Kim), Dan Pacatte (Leeanne) and Laura Pollilo (Ron); his grandchildren, Ty, Kaitlin Pacatte, Wyatt, Charlotte and Shelby Pacatte; his siblings' children, Denzel Jines (Sophia), Mary Beth Jines (Gaby), Tim Pacatte (Angela), Clay Pacatte (Keri O'Brien), Ryan, Callie, Libby Pacatte and Nic Pacatte (Anna); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Addysen, Denzel Dean IV, Charlie of Carlinville, IL, Violet Garret of St Louis, MO, Reese, Maren Pacatte, Lila and Lindy Pacatte.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Lake Highlands United Methodist Church (9015 Plano Rd, Dallas, TX 75238).
