Mike A. Cunningham

Mike A. Cunningham, age 64, born on July 15, 1961, passed away peacefully Saturday, March 14, 2026 with his loving wife by his side. He was a native and resident of Houma, La.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the service at Cross Church at 2600 Coteau Rd., on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mike is survived by his wife, Jenny Johnson Cunningham; parents, Elward Cunningham and Betty Autin Cunningham; brother, Dwayne Cunningham (Claudia); sisters, Linda Young, Lisa Allen (Tim); and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his previous wife, Lois Bishop Cunningham.

For over 40 years, Mike worked in the oilfield industry, where he was known for his expertise and dedication to his craft. He was a problem solver, often found around the house with a gadget in hand, ready to fix anything that needed repair. His resourcefulness and practical skills were admired by many.

Mike had a passion for cooking, and nothing brought him more joy than preparing delicious meals for his family. He was particularly fond of BBQs, crawfish boils, and shrimp boils, which became cherished traditions in their household. He also enjoyed fishing, often finding tranquility and joy in the great outdoors.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
