Miguel Perez

Miguel Perez, 68, of San Saba, Texas, passed away on March 12, 2026. Born on April 12, 1957, in Lampasas, Texas, to Eugenio and Josephine Aneira Perez, he grew up in a large and lively household alongside his 15 siblings.

A quiet and humble man, Miguel expressed himself through the work of his hands. He possessed a natural talent for crafting small trinkets and keepsakes, which he lovingly shared with family and friends. Whether repairing what was broken or creating something new, he took great pride in his craftsmanship. For most of his life, he worked in construction, where his strong work ethic and skillful hands allowed him to provide steadily for his family until his retirement.

Above all, Miguel cherished his role as a father. He found deep joy in supporting his children—Michael, Mikey, Joe, and Sylvia—through quiet acts of service, guidance, and the many thoughtful items he built or repaired for them. He will be remembered for his quiet strength, kind heart, and the handmade treasures he left behind.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and three sisters. Miguel is survived by his children, Michael, Mikey, Joe, and Sylvia; his seven sisters, Cruz Uvalle, Josie Benavides, Maggie Aguilar, Mercedes Uvalle, Mary Espinosa, Angelita Sanchez, and Vivian Perez Uvalle; his brother, Antonio Perez; fourteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and relatives.
