He was predeceased by: his parents, Pablo Lopez and Salud Lopez (Murillo). He is survived by: his wife Guillermina Lopez; and his children, Rosita Portalatin (David), Luz Maria Blanco (Paul), Anita Orozco (Ruben), Miguel Lopez (Catalina), Alicia Lopez (Paul Gutierrez) and Guillermina Madrigal (Javier). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; and many cherished family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the O'Neil Funeral Home (1105 E 9th St, Lockport, IL 60441). A prayer will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at 9:15 AM at the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel (1105 E 9th St, Lockport, IL 60441). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Dennis Church (1214 Hamilton St, Lockport, IL 60441). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at the Resurrection Cemetery (7201 Archer Rd, Justice, IL 60458).
