Michelle Rene Kinsinger

Michelle Rene Kinsinger, 52, of Garden City, Kansas, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026, in Wichita, Kansas. Born on December 18, 1973, in Liberal, Kansas, she was the daughter of Raymond Joseph Romero and Cathy Irene Gomez. Michelle spent most of her life in Liberal before moving recently to the Garden City area to be closer to family.

She found joy in simple pleasures—coloring, listening and dancing to music, and spending time with those she loved, especially her granddaughter Amarah. Known for her bright spirit and sense of humor, Michelle had a gift for making others smile. She possessed a generous heart and was always eager to help anyone she could.

She is survived by her mother, Cathy Gomez; her daughter, Remi Gomez; her brothers, Ray and JoAnn Romero, Randy Romero, Jeff and Cynthia Gomez, Andrew and Amanda Gomez, and Ricky Gomez; her granddaughter, Amarah Serenity Gomez; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Michelle was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Romero; her brother, Tommy James Romero; her son, Mikey Nirvana Kinsinger; and her grandmother, Cora Vargas Romero.
