Michele Yvonne Watson

Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, Michele Yvonne Watson passed away on March 6, 2026, surrounded by her family in Elk Grove, CA. She was born on June 14, 1956 in Peoria, Illinois to Marion Lampkin, Jr. and Marilyn Lampkin. She moved to Sacramento, CA in 1976 and ultimately settled in Elk Grove in 1995 with the purchase of her first home. In that same year she obtained her CPA license, which was a lifelong dream come true along with earning her bachelor’s degree in business administration from CSU Sacramento. Michele is survived by her children Rodney and Maurice Jackson; ten grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. A viewing will be held on March 18, 2026 from 5 – 8 pm and the Celebration of Life on March 19, 2026 from 10 – 12 pm at the East Lawn Elk Grove Memorial Park at 9189 E Stockton Blvd., Elk Grove, CA 95624.
