Michele Rae "Woodside" Fink

Michele Rae Fink, 69, of Collinsville, passed away at her residence on March 6, 2026. Born December 2, 1956, in East St. Louis, she was the daughter of John E. and Betty Delores (Kirkpatrick) Woodside.

Michele worked for many years in the finance department at Belleville Area College. On August 7, 1987, in Edwardsville, she married John Fink, who survives her. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose quiet strength and steady presence were cherished by those closest to her.

She is survived by her two sons, Adam (Rachel) Fink of Michigan and Joshua Fink of Collinsville; two granddaughters, Olivia and Sophia Fink; three brothers, Kevin Woodside of Shiloh, Woody Woodside of South Carolina, and John Woodside of Goose Creek, South Carolina; two sisters, Denise Herderhorst of Millstadt and Toni Chapman of The Village, Florida; and eight nieces and nephews.

Her family will remember Michele for the love and care she gave them throughout her life. A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held in her honor on Saturday, May 9 at the New Douglas Community Hall.
