Michele Martino

Michele Martino ("Mike"), of Glen Cove, NY, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2026, at the age of 75, surrounded by his loving family.

Michele was born in Sturno, Italy, and moved to Glen Cove, New York in 1970, where he built a life centered around hard work, family, and community.

He is survived by his loving wife, Grace, his devoted children, Gianni (Cristen) and Nadia (Atalay), and was the proud and loving grandfather of four beautiful granddaughters.

Michele was well known in the Glen Cove community for his expertise as a contractor, building many homes throughout the area over the years.

In his free time, Michele enjoyed watching sports-especially soccer-reading the newspaper, doing Sudoku, and solving puzzles.

He is also survived by his loving sisters, Angiolina and Michelina, and his brother-in-law, Antonio, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

Michele will be laid to rest in Sturno, Italy, beside his beloved mother and father, returning to the place where his life began.

He will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his strong work ethic, and the life he built for those he loved.
