Michael Wenning Farmer, 67, of Gassville, Arkansas, passed away on March 11, 2026, at his home. Born on February 22, 1959, in Klamath Falls, Oregon, to Gordon Farmer and Joyce Barnhill, Michael was a man who loved his family and close friends with a quiet steadfastness. He was always the first to offer help to anyone in need, and he found his greatest joy in the simple pleasures of life.
He cherished days spent fishing, camping, and riding side-by-sides alongside his family. Michael also took genuine pride in his cooking, happily preparing almost any dish that was requested of him. Above all, he adored the time he spent with his granddaughter, Brooke, who brought him endless pride and joy. Being her “Pop Pop” and creating memories with her were among the happiest moments of his life.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Mark Farmer, Steven Farmer, and John Alexander. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Monica and Cody Krug; his beloved granddaughter, Brooke Krug; one brother, Darryl Gaylor; and one sister, Linda Workman.
He will be remembered for his generous heart, his deep love of family, and the many warm memories he created with those who loved him.
