Throughout his life, Mike formed many lifelong friendships, including with Dave (Sheri) McMillen, Kenny (Rhonda) McMillen, and Weej (Deb) Lynch, as well as dear friends from his 36 years at Kennedy Space Center and from his church families at First United Methodist Church, Westside Baptist Church, and Park Avenue Baptist Church. His favorite verse was Matthew 6:33: “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you.”
