Michael Usry

Michael William Usry, age 56, of Graniteville, entered into rest on Saturday, March 7, 2026.

He is survived by his mother, Frances Hutto Jordan; his sons, Easton Lee Scott Usry; his daughters, Raegan Annaleise Usry and Charlotte Marie Usry; his special companion, Ava Catherine Barron; his brothers, Rodney Dale Payton, Barry Gene Payton, Kris O’Neil Usry, Ronald Jordan (Kelli), Donald Jordan (Cheryl), and Jake Jordan; and his nephews, Brock O’Neil Usry, Stephen Troy Payton, Cody Gene Payton, Devin Dale Payton, and Jeremy Dale Thomas.

Preceded in death by his father, William Charles Usry; his stepfather, William Ronald Jordan; and his sons, Raymond Ashton Groomes, Jody Brandon Bachelor, and Andrew Thomas Bachelor, Michael spent nearly forty years as a truck driver and was a dedicated business owner. Locally, he was well known as the proprietor of Graniteville’s Chick-N-Snack. He had a deep love for animals and was always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. Above all, he was a loving father whose warmth and generosity touched many lives.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
