Michael Sioui

Michael Sioui passed away peacefully at Hospice Simcoe in Barrie on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. Born in Saint-Agathe-des-Monts in the Laurentians on August 4, 1961, Mike was the beloved husband of Barb for 40 wonderful years. He was a devoted and proud father to Megan, Jeremy (Laura), and Erin (Roman). His family was the centre of his life, and he took great joy in sharing time, laughter, and many adventures with them.

Mike will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his immediate family, as well as by extended family and friends whose lives he touched. He shared his love of music, concerts, skiing, camping, travelling, and the Montreal Canadiens with those closest to him, passions that continue through his children. Known for his great sense of humour, Mike will be remembered for his warmth, his stories, and the deep pride he felt for his family.

His family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at Hospice Simcoe for the care and kindness shown to Mike and his loved ones.
