Michael Scott Parsons Sr.

Michael Scott Parsons, Sr., 65, of Millcreek, Missouri, passed away at home on March 9, 2026. Born on December 20, 1960, to the late Elizabeth “Liz” (Bimes) Hasty, Michael spent many years as an over-the-road truck driver. He held a deep passion for photography, dancing, and history, and found great joy in rock-n-roll music and all things western, particularly the writings of Louis L’Amour.

He is survived by his wife, Roma Ree (Matkin) Parsons; his children, Brent Lee Scowden, Michael Scott Parsons II, Megan Renea Christos (Andy Christos), and Dylon Scott Parsons (Aixa Marroquin); and five grandchildren, Michael Scott Albrecht, Cody David Parsons, Davidlee Bryon Young, Koda Xander Young, and Raylynn Rose Parsons. He also leaves behind many other loving family members and friends.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents; his sons, Ryan David Parsons and Cody Lee Parsons; his grandchildren, Emma Jane Vance and Aros James Parsons; his brother, Artie Brockelmeyer; and a sister who passed in infancy.
