Michael Rue Reed

Michael Rue Reed, age 58, of Greenbrier, passed away on March 8, 2026. Born in Springfield, Tennessee, on January 11, 1968, Michael lived a life marked by his deep passion for hot rod cars and driving. A skilled auto mechanic, he took pride in his ability to fix just about anything and was always ready to help friends in need. He had a gentle heart for animals and found joy in listening to music, watching movies, and cheering for the Tennessee Vols.

Michael is preceded in death by his mother, Janice Krisle Miller, and his grandparents, William and Eula Reed and Ewing and Beatrice Krisle.

He is survived by his daughter, Courtnie (Scott) Kreutz; grandchildren, Harlee, Cora, and Charis Kreutz; his father, Donnie (Shelia) Reed; his sister, Donna (Trever) Harris; his brother, Brandon (Taylor) Reed; nephews, Caleb Harris and Aidyn Reed; and nieces, Katelyn Harris and Addi Wheeler. A graveside service will be held at a later date at Springfield Memorial Gardens.
