Michael Rogers

Michael Rogers, 65, of Howell, Michigan, passed away on March 12, 2026. Born on January 29, 1961, in Detroit, Michigan, to Ralph Rogers and Barbara (Tune) Rogers, Michael was known for his quick wit, strong work ethic, and lively “firecracker” personality that filled rooms with energy and laughter. He served his country for 14 years in the Marines and the Army National Guard, embodying a deep sense of duty and pride.

In his personal time, Michael found joy in pig farming and regularly attended fairs and festivals. A devoted sports fan, he cheered for his beloved Detroit teams and Michigan State athletics. He also enjoyed evenings at the casino and sharing quiet moments with friends and family. Above all, he treasured time spent with his grandchildren and extended family, who brought him immense pride and happiness.

Michael is survived by his spouse, Maria Rogers; his son, Brandon Rogers; his life partner, Luzette Anderson; extended family members Roy (Jessica) Anderson and Stephanie (Joey) Boyle; grandchildren Noah, Olivia, Ada-Jane, Andrew, Malaya, and JB; and nieces and nephews Eric, Corey, Tina, Katie, Jennifer, Sarah, and Matthew. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Barbara Rogers, and his siblings, Ronald Rogers and Janice Wenk.
