Michael Ray Freeman, son of the late Nathan R. Freeman and Dovelue Young Freeman, was born on Tuesday, August 28, 1956, in Gideon, Missouri and departed this life on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the Gideon Health Care Center in Gideon at the age of 69 years 6 months 10 days.Michael had been self-employed in the construction industry for many years. In his spare time, he loved to fish, to hunt and to play his guitar. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend.His survivors include his son, Michael Bryan Freeman of Kennett, Missouri; his daughter, Meghan Freeman of Kennett, Missouri; his brother, Russell Freman & wife, Barbara of Kennett, Missouri; his sister, Mary Lou Crane of Frisbee, Missouri, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Annette Sue Crane.Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett with Reverend Jim Davis officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. and continue until the time of service. Burial will be in Mt.
