Michael Ray Davis

Michael Ray Davis, age 62, of Lockwood, Missouri, passed away on March 7, 2026, at his home.

Born on May 22, 1963, in Martinez, California, to James Edward Davis and Linda Ann (Lackey) Davis, Michael grew up with a quiet strength and a deep appreciation for the outdoors. On May 21, 1990, he married Ivy Jean Shaver in Greenfield, Missouri, beginning a partnership that would last more than thirty-five years.

Michael worked as a carpenter, crafting with skill and care throughout his life. He and Ivy shared a love for simple pleasures, spending many peaceful days hiking, fishing, and arrowhead hunting together along their local creek.

He is survived by his wife, Ivy; his stepmother, Virginia Davis; and his brother, James (Linda) Davis Jr., all of Lamar, Missouri. Michael was preceded in death by his father, James Davis.
