Michael R. Couture

Michael R. Couture, age 60, of Lowell, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2026, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. After courageously facing a serious illness, he found peace and was reunited with his father, Roger E. Couture, and his brothers who predeceased him.

Born in Lowell on August 12, 1965, Michael lived his entire life in the city he loved. He attended St. Joseph’s Catholic School in Lowell and Bishop Guertin High School in Nashua, New Hampshire, before graduating from Lowell High School with the class of 1983. He worked for many years at Thermo Fisher Scientific and spent the past eleven years at Viken Technologies in Burlington.

Michael is survived by his devoted wife, Caroll A. (Roche) Couture, and the children of whom he was so deeply proud: Brian and Sara Couture of Nashua, New Hampshire. He also leaves his sister, Debra (Brian) Kukulski of Dracut, her son Scott Peterson of Manchester, New Hampshire, and his sister Vivianne Couture and her husband Yves Besner of Montreal, Canada, along with several nieces and nephews in the area and in Montreal.
