He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Bob" Pegg and Elizabeth "Jean" Pegg. He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Budd (Steve) and Melissa Munson (Grant); his grandchildren, Brandon, Alexa and Ethan; and his siblings, Kathy Fritz (Bob), Beth Hinman (Dave), Tim Pegg (Kim) and Scott Pegg (Stephanie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the A. J. Desmond & Sons (Vasu, Rodgers & Connell Chapel) (32515 Woodward Ave, Royal Oak, MI 48073). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 10:45 AM at the Great Lakes National Cemetery (4200 Belford Rd, Holly, MI 48442).
