Michael Paul Ware

Michael Paul Ware, 50, of New London, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 13, 2026 at Mercy Health Allen Hospital in Oberlin. Born in Elyria on April 1, 1975 to Harold Lee Ware and Judy Lee Jones, Michael built a life rooted in quiet strength and genuine connection.

A hardworking drywall technician, he took pride in the quality of his craftsmanship and the friendships he formed through his work. In his free time, Michael found deep joy in fishing and music, pursuits that brought him peace and fulfillment. Known for his generous spirit, he cared deeply for those around him and was always ready to offer a helping hand or a kind word. Above all, his daughter and grandson were the center of his world. With a big heart and warm presence, he touched the lives of everyone who knew him.

Michael is survived by his daughter, Michaela Ware; girlfriend, Amy Shelton; sisters, Terry (Dallas) Burt and Cassie (Jack) Fisher; brother, Donald Ware; grandson, Oscar Cruz; nieces, Amanda Ware, Michelle Dahmous, and Alexis “Boo” Ware; nephews, Richard and Jason Ware; and best friends, Michael Spurlock and Christina Daniels. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Patricia Ware.
