Michael Lynn Williams

Michael Lynn Williams, 74, of Sonora, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown. Born on May 16, 1951, he was the eldest son of Norbert and Frances Williams. Michael gave his life to Christ on June 30, 1966, at Center Point in Hardin County, a faith that remained central to his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Martha Sue. Michael is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Susan Lynne Patterson Williams; their seven children, Rebecca Lynne (Stephen) Copelin of Clarkson, Michael Stuart (Jackie) Williams of Upton, Jason Andrew (LaCosta) Williams of Clarkson, Samuel Lee (Gerri) Williams of Campbellsville, Amanda Dawn (Hardie) Jones of Roundhill, Kelly Suzanne (Hank) Van Meter of Clarkson, and Amy Lou (Jacob) Riggs of Clarkson; 25 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; his brother, Mark (Jackie) Williams of Upton; his sister, Norita (Don) Wink of Sonora; and several nieces and nephews.

Michael’s deep love for his family was evident in the life he built and the legacy he leaves behind. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother whose steadfast faith and quiet strength touched all who knew him.
