He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Otto and Joyce Otto; his brothers, Gary, Steve and Don Otto; and his grandson Quinton Otto.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Otto (Clancy); his children, Stacey Sewell (Bryan), Timothy Otto, Chelsey Carpenter (Matt) and Kyle Otto (Tatiana); and his grandchildren, Logan Otto (Kelsy), Austin Spaeth (Gillian), Addison Sewell, Cassidy Otto, Emory Carpenter, Cam Carpenter and Lake Otto. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dowdle Funeral Cremation Pre-Need Care-Richland Chapel (9170 E D Ave, Richland, MI 49083). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Richland Chapel (9170 E D Ave, Richland, MI 49083).
