Michael Lee Cannon

Michael Lee "Mike" Cannon, 59, of Muir, Michigan, passed away on March 7, 2026. Born on September 4, 1966, in Lawrenceville, Georgia, he was the son of Roger Cannon and Martha Wiggins.

A well-liked member of the Ionia and Muir community, Mike was known for his easy-going nature and his deep passion for classic cars and trucks. He was truly in his element when admiring a vintage engine or talking shop with friends. Above all, nothing compared to the love he had for his family. A devoted father and doting "Papa," Mike cherished every moment spent with his six grandchildren, who were the light of his life. He will be remembered for his infectious laugh, his generous heart, and the unwavering love he showed to those closest to him.

Mike is now peacefully reunited with his mother, Martha, and his sister, Judy, both of whom he had missed greatly. He is survived by his three children, Kathy Cannon, Julie Cannon, and Michael (Samantha) Cannon, and his six beloved grandchildren, Katherine, Richard, Sapphire, Jayceon, Judy, and Maverick. He leaves behind a community of friends who will deeply miss his presence.
