Michael L. DiGennaro, born April 28, 1949, passed away March 5, 2026, at age 76, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter and lots of cherished memories that will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

He proudly served his country during August 14, 1967 – November 12, 1971, in the US Air Force.

Michael had a deep love for fishing, boating and camping. He loved the outdoors and treasured time with his family above all else. His presence will be deeply missed.

He impacted so many people in his life, friends, family and the countless people he helped. He believed in integrity, discipline, hard work and personal responsibility.

He was proceeded in death by his father, Salvatore DiGennaro and his mother, Florence DiGennaro; four brothers, Neil DiGennaro (Carol), Salvatore DiGennaro (Ellen), Gerald DiGennaro (Gypsy), Guy DiGennaro and one sister Florence Brown (Donald).

He leaves behind his loving and devoted wife Judy; four sons, Michael DiGennaro, Timothy DiGennaro (Ioana), Salvatore DiGennaro (Allison) and Stephen DiGennaro; two step children, Brian Buetow and Christy Dodson (John); Six grandchildren, Kasen Hayes (Taylor), James Hunter Mills DiGennaro and Amelia DiGennaro, Courtney Hawkins (Matthew), Jessica Cain (Caleb) and Jordyn Chastain (Seth); eight great – grandchildren, Noah Hawkins, Ella Grace Hawkins, Jonah Hawkins, Elijah Cain, Sophia Cain, Landrum Cain, Judah Chastain and Theodore Chastain; along with several nieces and nephews; three brothers, Joseph DiGennaro (Janice), Antimo DiGennaro and Vincent DiGennaro; five sisters, Annette Snow (Edwin), Margie Andraka (Edward), Mary Recchio (Michael), Teresa Scott (Robert) and Donna Collins (Robert).

Memorial Service to be held at St. Therese Catholic Church Friday, March 13, 2026 at 12:00 PM with Father Mike Nolan officiating. The family will receive friends 10 – 12:00 PM prior to the service. Interment will follow at Triplett Beaty Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Michael DiGennaro, Salvatore DiGennaro, Hunter DiGennaro, Taylor Hayes, Kelly Guyer, Jeff Blackburn and alternates are Brian Buetow and John Dodson.

Poole Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Cleveland are in charge of the arrangements.
