Marinette, WI
Michael Edward Kehoe, 83, of Marinette and Kenosha, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2026. Born on November 18, 1942, in Marinette to Edward Joseph Kehoe and Joyce (née Miller) Kehoe, Michael built a life centered on service, learning, and community. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and his law degree from Marquette University Law School. He practiced law in private practice before serving as a Family Court Commissioner, where he was known for his fairness, integrity, and thoughtful approach.
An intellectual with a deep love of learning, Michael was widely read and enjoyed sharing knowledge with others. He remained highly active in his community, volunteering with museums and schools, where he was especially cherished by students and staff. His generous spirit led him to open his home to many; he served as a foster parent to high school students, hosted international exchange students, and welcomed Minnesota Twins players during their time in the area. He also shared his passion for jazz through a radio program that reached listeners across the country, connecting with many through his voice and carefully chosen music.
Michael is survived by his sisters Kathleen Walker, Margaret Krueger, and Patricia Wiskow; his cherished nieces and nephews Jeffery Kehoe, Samantha Parker, Andrew Krueger, Rebecca Cline, Diane Cook, Evan Wiskow, and Jenna Wiskow; and his loving cousin and dear friend, Mary Ann Kehoe. He was preceded in death by his parents Edward Joseph and Joyce Kehoe, his brother Timothy Kehoe, his sister Nan Kehoe, and his nephew Blaine Wiskow.
He will be remembered as a kind, thoughtful, and respected man whose life reflected service, generosity, and intellectual curiosity.
