Michael MacDonald ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Castiglione Funeral Home on Mar. 10, 2026.Michael John MacDonald of Greenwich CT passed away peacefully at the age of 71, on March 6th, 2026, at his home in Byram. Born on February 9th, 1955, at Greenwich Hospital to Penelope and George. He is survived by his daughter Erin MacDonald, siblings Catherine "Kit" her husband Scott Grant, Paul MacDonald and wife Diana, Peter MacDonald and wife Cindy, nieces, countless cousins, and friends. He was preceded by his brother George and both parents Penelope and George. Michael attended Greenwich Schools and worked for the Town of Greenwich as an Instrumentation Specialist, HVAC technician, and electrician for over 40 years. He was loved by all and had an infectious laugh and smile. He was an avid boater, motorcycle rider and incredible handyman who enjoyed these hobbies whenever he could. Michael was always available with a helping hand to anyone in need, especially for his daughter. Intensely funny and amazingly smart Michael will be dearly missed by everyone that knew him.
