It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael Jay Shed of Wewoka, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 7, 2026, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Forrest Shed and Grace Laverne Shed (Chadwick); his siblings, Desmond Keith Shed and Oriece Babb; his children, Nicholas Brian Dobbs, Dion Dobbs, Tony McLelland and Caesonia Hembree; and his brother Dr. Forrest Shed (Carol). He was also cherished by five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Fisher Funeral Home-Lillye Chapel, and Michael.
