With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Michael James Pitts of Hampstead, Maryland, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Michael left this world on March 8, 2026 at the age of 48, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Michael is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Michael's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Franklin, Anna Pitts, James and Helen Miller. He is survived by: his parents, James F. Pitts and Frances "Kay" Pitts; and his brother Troy Meyer. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel (412 Washington Rd, Westminster, MD 21157). A Mass will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Charles Borromeo Parish (101 Church Ln, Pikesville, MD 21208).
