He was born on March 24, 1951, in Boone, Iowa, the son of Floyd and Gladys (Kever) Lingelbach.He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps, during his career, he also had the distinguished honor of serving as a bodyguard connected with the historic Apollo 14 mission.He leaves behind his daughter, Micah J Faisal and son-in-law, Parvez Faisal; his brother, Darrell Lingelbach; his sisters-in-law, Cindy Watson and Barb Barker; and four cherished grandchildren Shams, Sofia, Junior, and Baby Mikey, who will forever hold his memory in their hearts.He is now reunited in heaven with his son, Andy; his wife, Rita; along with his grandbaby; sisters; brothers, and his mom and dad, whom he missed all dearly.Schroeder-Stark-Welin Funeral Home, 515-432-4550.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
