Marie, Michigan, passed away at his home on March 6, 2026. He was born October 8, 1949, in Sault Ste. Marie to Eugene and Irene (Piche) Deuman.Mike grew up in Brimley, Michigan, and graduated from Brimley High School. In 1969, he joined the United States Navy and proudly served his country. Following his time in the service, Mike worked as an underground pipe layer. In July of 1991, he married Patricia Murphy, and together they built a life and raised two children. Mike loved spending time with his family and had a special place in his heart for his dogs.He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, where he served as an altar boy.Mike had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and spent many hours hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed getting together with friends to play poker.Mike is survived by his wife, Patricia; sons, Robert Lamothe and Shawn Deuman, both of Sault Ste. Marie; brother, Glenn Deuman; sisters, Mary Swendsen and Shirley Ulven; many nieces and nephews; and three sisters-in-law.Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Irene; brothers, Dave Deuman, Steve Dueman and Terry Deuman; sister, Sheila Brown; nephew, Terry Deuman; and mother-in-law, Dorothy Murphy.A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.Condolences may be given to the family at www.familylifefh.com.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
