Michael J. Svehla

On March 9th, 2026, Michael J. Svehla passed away. Born on May 1st, 1957 to the late Sherry and late Edward Svehla, he was the loving husband of Margaret Svehla; devoted father of Michael M. Svehla and wife Rebecca, Shannon Hayes; cherished grandfather of Cameron Engles, Christopher Engles, Corey Engles, Tristan Turner, Chase Turner, Terrance Hayes, Kaitlyn Svehla; caring great grandfather of D’Angelo Engles, Isaiah Engles; dear brother of Michele Svehla, the late Joseph Hammen, and Christopher Hammen.

A public viewing will be held at our Arbutus location on Sunday, March 15th, from 2 PM to 4 PM and from 6 PM to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Church of the Ascension on Monday, March 16th at 10 AM, with interment immediately following at Loudon Park Cemetery.
