Michael J. Saad, Sr.

Michael Saad Sr., 57, of Oxford, passed away on March 13, 2026. Known for his larger-than-life personality and chaotic antics, Michael had a dream he pursued with remarkable determination and grit. In 1992 he opened Central Mass Auto Auction in Oxford, building the business over 16 years into one of the top auto auctions in New England. A generous employer of more than 100 people, he and his wife Heidi later sold the company, which continues to thrive today.

Michael’s laughter was contagious, and his big personality could fill any room. He is remembered fondly by those who knew him for his drive, his vision, and the many stories he left behind.

He leaves behind his children, Malissa Saad and Michael Saad Jr., and their mother, Heidi Saad, all of Oxford; and two grandchildren. He is survived by his sister, Barbara Saad-Fields of Webster; his brother, Thomas Saad, and sister-in-law, Heather Saad; and his nephews, Jonathan, Gavin, and Ronin of Dudley. He was predeceased by his parents, John Saad in 2021 and Jeanne Saad in 2022, and his brother-in-law, Ronald Fields in 2025.
