Michael J. Piesla

Michael J. Piesla, 62, of Middle Village, New York, formerly of Milford, New Jersey, passed away unexpectedly on March 10, 2026. Born on October 24, 1963, he was the beloved son of the late Stanley Piesla and the late Dolores Crawford. He is survived by his daughter Alexandria Tibak and her husband Wayne, his grandson Parker, his son Ryan Piesla, his brother Stanley Piesla Jr. and his wife Kate, their children Christian and Claire, his sister Kathy Pelc and her husband Peter, their children Jillian and Alexander, and his brother Thomas Piesla and his wife Kathy, their children Megan and Thomas.

A proud graduate of Rutgers University, Michael built a career as a pharmacologist at Wyeth, where he worked with dedication and passion for twenty years. He held a deep love for travel and found particular joy in the landscapes of Yellowstone National Park. He cherished the town of Milford, New Jersey, where he and his former wife raised their two children, before returning to his other beloved home in New York City. There he enjoyed exploring museums and restaurants, with the Brooklyn Botanic Garden occupying a special place in his heart.

Michael will be deeply missed by all those who loved him.
