Michael J. Piemonte

Michael J. “Mike” Piemonte, 72, of North Attleboro, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Monday, March 9, 2026, at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, following a progressive illness. Raised in Mattapan, he was the beloved husband of Debbie J. (Romotsky) Piemonte, with whom he shared nearly 36 years of marriage.

Born on December 3, 1953, Mike was the son of the late Orsini “Joe” Piemonte and the late Antoinette (DiLeo) Piemonte. He is survived by his wife Debbie, their two sons, Justin and Jeremy Piemonte, his godmother Marion Chillemi, and many cousins and longtime close friends. He was predeceased by his sister, Joanne Piemonte.

For nearly fifty years, Mike worked as an executive banker specializing in risk management, compliance, and auditing. He held positions at State Street Bank, Foxboro National Bank, Benjamin Franklin Savings Bank, Mechanics Cooperative Bank, Mansfield Bank, and Bluestone Bank. He also gave generously of his time to Old Colony Habitat for Humanity, Pro Home, and the Rotary Club of Mansfield.

Mike will be remembered for his big heart and generous spirit. He was always willing to go the extra mile to bring joy to others, especially his family, whom he loved deeply and of whom he was immensely proud. He cherished attending live music events with Debbie and their sons, dancing and singing along, and delighting his family with his own unforgettable renditions of favorite songs.
