Michael J. Lemley, 75, of Rostraver Township, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, March 13, 2026. Born in Rostraver Township on December 24, 1950, he was the youngest of fourteen children born to the late Raymond and Ethel Lemley.
Mike retired from the U.S. Steel Clairton Works after many years of service and honorably served his country in the United States Army. He found great joy in fishing, caring for his beloved 1977 Ford Granada, and serving as chief mechanic for his son Mike, who became champion in the Charger Class at Motordrome.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Lana (Durka) Lemley; sons Mike (Shannon) Lemley of Dawson and Gary Lemley of Charleroi; and his loving grandchildren, twins Jake and Mac Lemley, and precious Olivia Lemley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Robert, Glen, Leonard, Carl, James, and Donald, and his sisters Alberta Bittner, Mary LaSalle, Barbara Krasonic, Lorraine Quintier, Nina Valent, Patty Christner, and infant sister Betty Lemley.
At Michael’s request, a memorial service will be held at a later date at Olive Branch Cemetery.
